Andrea Riposati on Why Dante Labs Was Founded
Andrea Riposati was born in Italy, and after graduating from Bocconi University with a degree in business, he emigrated to the United States. After receiving his Master of Business Administration from Harvard University, he started his professional career as a strategy consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton.
In the year 2002, Andrea Riposati helped to establish Muse Technologies in the city of Seattle, Washington. This firm developed software for other businesses, such as Boeing and Microsoft, to help them tackle complex product development, supply chain management, and financial risk management challenges.
Andrea Riposati uprooted to New York in 2007 to become Amazon’s Senior Product Manager, and he’s been there ever since. He was responsible for the Marketplace and the Amazon 3D Printing Store (AWS) within Amazon Web Services. Returning to Seattle in 2012, he co-founded Dante Labs with James Kirkland and many others.
