Damien Granderson´s Professional Career

Damien Granderson is a professional baseball outfielder for the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League. He graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in San Francisco and attended the University of California, Irvine, where he majored in business. 

 

The MLB selected Damien Granderson as a third baseman in the second round of the 2005 MLB Draft by the Chicago White Sox. He changed positions to replace Orlando Cabrera and played 80 games for them before being sent back to rookie ball. The White Sox eventually tried him out at shortstop, but his bat was his calling card, so he eventually returned to the big leagues as an outfielder. 

 

He became a regular by the 2010 season. After his time with Chicago, Damien Granderson signed with the Oakland Athletics in 2010. At the end of that season, he was traded to the Brewers and has been there since. His best year so far came in 2012 when he made the All-Star team, hitting .285/.349/.508 with 27 home runs and 18 stolen bases. 

 

Granderson has additionally spent time playing for the United States national baseball team. He played for them in 2006, 2009, and 2013 World Baseball Classics. He was on their roster in two Olympics (2008, 2012) but did not reach either of those events due to injury. 

 

The successful lawyer has also played for the Puerto Rican national baseball team. Successful attorney Damien Granderson participated in the 2018 Champions Celebrity Baseball Game, pitching two scoreless innings (Instagram).

 

The outstanding and successful attorney Damien Granderson began dating actress and former Miss California USA Shanna Moakler on June 25, 2007. They first met when Moakler was doing a photo shoot for Sizzler in early 2007 and wound up getting engaged three months later. The couple tied the knot on March 20, 2008, at the Prive Hotel in Los Angeles.
