Justin Sun On Crypto Taking Lessons From TradFi

The crypto space is a burgeoning world with new daily businesses and ideas. But the area has its share of difficulties. For one thing, it isn’t easy to develop a blockchain project and successfully bring it to market. That’s because most developers don’t know how to compete with the many brilliant developers in the scene. And when you do find a developer, they are often hard to acquire since they are in limited supply due to the high demand for their skills.

But there could be another way in which crypto takes lessons from traditional finance: hiring celebrity endorsers. One such individual is Justin Sun (founder of TRON).

Justin Sun is a crypto influencer with a large following on Twitter and Instagram, even though he hasn’t tweeted or Instagrammed in 2018. But back in 2017, he was one of the first major crypto stars to make announcements, having posted a number of great articles on Medium. And this is where Sun takes lessons from traditional finance: celebrity endorsers.

Celebrity endorsements can be a great way to reach a diverse audience and increase brand awareness. This is especially useful for up-and-coming cryptos that may not have the financial backing to advertise themselves on television, publications, or radio. However, there are differences between the traditional and cryptocurrency business models.

Justin Sun has taken his experience and lessons from traditional finance and applied it to the crypto space. And in doing so, he has achieved great success.

Sun has been very public about his belief in TRON’s technology and future as a decentralized entertainment platform. The two of them were even at San Francisco City Hall recently to officially launch the project, which was met with huge media coverage. Here, there was a great opportunity for Sun to make an announcement, but he took it one step further by making an endorsement deal with NBA superstar Lebron James:

TRON and Lebron have teamed up for what is being called “#LeBronDay” on June 21st, 2018.
