  1. Achievements

Roy Beck has been a leading advocate for U.S. immigration reform since the late 1960s. He was an organizer of the first national conference on illegal immigration and the founder of the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI). He also ran for President in 2000 as a candidate of the Reform Party, an organization that sought to unite third-party candidates with political positions in line with his own. In 2007, Beck and Mark Krikorian founded NumbersUSA, which advocates for reductions in legal and illegal immigration to the U.S.

  1. Experience

Roy Beck was a volunteer for the Presidential campaign of Patrick J. Buchanan in 1996. He was also the founder and President of Citizens for Immigration Control (CIC). This grassroots organization opposed amnesty, increased immigration and guest worker programs, and worked to reduce illegal immigration. He served as chief of staff to Buchanan during his first year as President George W. Bush’s Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

  1. Priorities

Beck helped develop the “Contract with America,” which outlined a conservative agenda for governing in the 1990s, including tax cuts, welfare reform, school choice, crime reduction, and balanced budgets during his time with Buchanan. He also helped work with Congress on several pieces of legislation, including welfare reform and tax cuts aimed at reducing government spending on entitlements such as Social Security and Medicare.

Roy Beck is a conservative who has worked tirelessly to bring common-sense solutions to our broken immigration system. His experience in the federal government and his insight into the current system’s problems make him the perfect choice to lead an overhaul of our nation’s immigration laws.
